2. Authentication and Account Data

The App uses the Base44 platform’s built-in authentication system. When you register, the following data is collected:

• Email address — used as your login identifier and for account-related communications
• Full name — used to personalise your experience within the App
• Encrypted password — stored securely by the Base44 platform; we never see or have access to your plain-text password

Authentication is managed entirely by the Base44 platform, which handles secure session tokens, password hashing, and login flows. Additional sign-in methods (such as Google) may be made available if enabled in the future.

3. Data We Collect

The App collects and stores the following categories of data to provide its features:

3.1 User Profile and Settings

• Congregation roles (e.g., elder, ministerial servant, coordinator, secretary, group overseer, school overseer)
• Congregation name and group number
• Country of residence
• Gender
• Ministerial responsibilities (e.g., literature, sound/video, accounts, cleaning, indicators)
• Calendar subscription token

3.2 Tasks and Projects

• Task titles, descriptions, categories, priorities, due dates, and completion status
• Sub-tasks/steps and time-tracking logs
• Project titles, descriptions, categories, status, and progress

3.3 Ministry and Field Service

• Ministry service logs (date, hours, minutes, service type, notes)
• Ministry categories, guides, and documents
• Revisit and study records (person name, contact details, notes, next topic)
• Study notes (student name, study date, lesson references, observations, permission given)

3.4 Congregation Management

• Publisher records (full name, phone, email, address, baptism date, privileges, gender, publisher type)
• Group information (group number, name, elder and assistant names, member lists)
• Meeting assignments (area, date, assigned publisher, status, email sent)
• Announcements (title, content, scheduled date)
• Shepherd visit records (person name, contact, visit date, counsel, notes, scriptures used)

4. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide and improve the App’s features:

• To display and organise your information — tasks, projects, schedules, ministry logs, etc.
• To enable congregation management features — publisher lists, group management, meeting assignments, announcements
• To provide AI-assisted features — certain features may use AI language models to help generate or summarise content
• To send notifications — meeting assignment notifications may be sent via email to registered users
• To provide a calendar export — a subscribable .ics calendar feed of your schedule
• To back up and restore your data — export/import functionality for your records

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the App’s functionality.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data based on:

• Consent — you provide your data voluntarily when creating an account and using the App’s features
• Contractual necessity — data is necessary to provide the services you requested
• Legitimate interest — maintaining the App’s functionality and security

You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account (see Section 10).

6. Data Storage and Security

6.1 Where Your Data Is Stored

All data is stored on the Base44 platform’s cloud infrastructure. The Base44 platform provides secure database storage with encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), managed authentication with encrypted password storage, and Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure users can only access their own data.

6.2 Security Measures

• All communication between your device and the server is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
• Passwords are hashed and encrypted by the Base44 platform — we never have access to your plain-text password
• Row-Level Security ensures your data is isolated from other users
• Session tokens are managed securely by the platform

6.3 Data Isolation

The App uses Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure that each user can only access their own data. Your tasks, settings, ministry logs, and other records are not visible to other users.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

7.1 Base44 Platform

The App is built on the Base44 platform, which provides user authentication, database storage, file and media storage, cloud hosting, AI language model integration, and email sending. Base44’s own Privacy Policy and Terms apply to the underlying platform services.

7.2 AI Language Models

Certain features of the App may use AI language models (via the Base44 integration) to assist with content generation or summarisation. Data you submit to these features may be processed by the AI provider to generate responses.

7.3 Email Service

The App may send emails to registered app users (e.g., meeting assignment notifications). Emails are sent only to registered users of the App.

7.4 Calendar Export

The App provides a subscribable .ics calendar feed. This feed is accessible via a unique token linked to your account. Do not share this token with others.

We do not use advertising networks, analytics trackers, or data brokers.

8. Data Retention

• Your data is retained for as long as your account is active
• When you delete a specific record (e.g., a task, recipe, publisher), it may be moved to a trash bin for 30 days before permanent deletion, allowing recovery
• When you delete your account, all your data across all entities is permanently deleted (see Section 10)
• We do not retain your data after account deletion

9. Your Data Is Never Sold

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. Your data is used exclusively to provide the App’s features to you.

10. Account Deletion and Your Rights

10.1 Deleting Your Account

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time:

• Open the App and navigate to Settings
• Scroll to the “Delete Account” section
• Tap “Delete all my data”
• Type DELETE to confirm
• Confirm the deletion

This will permanently erase all your data across all entities (tasks, settings, ministry logs, recipes, publishers, groups, etc.) and delete your user account. This action cannot be undone.

10.2 Requesting Data Deletion

10.3 Your Rights
